Podcast #10: Staying connected to the university
Let's hear it for our graduates last Saturday at the magnificent Eszterházy Palace in Eisenstadt. After a corona break of over a year, we were finally able to celebrate together with our alumni and guests in the castle again. Barbara Kramer-Meltsch, Managing Director of the alumni association, explained to us why the graduation ceremonies are an annual highlight not only for us, but also for the alumni FH Burgenland association. She spoke to us about networking, the successes of our alumni and the benefits of staying connected to the university after graduation.

It's exciting to find out what our graduates have experienced since completing their studies. The alumni association has grown from a baby to a child of mine, it has grown with me since it was founded in 2014 and has become a true affair of the heart for me. Every day that I get to work with and for the graduates is a highlight.

Behind-the-scenes

The podcast was recorded by presenter Jennifer Joó, who works in the marketing department at Burgenland University of Applied Sciences and is herself a graduate of the university. "As a graduate, the alumni FH Burgenland association is very close to my heart because I can see what great contacts you can make at a networking evening. As an employee of FH Burgenland, I report weekly on the exciting careers of our graduates. We have ambassadors all over the world. I find that enriching," says Jennifer.
