Podcast #9: With consistency to success
In this podcast episode, he spoke exclusively about his personal career, the highs and lows in his life as a successful entrepreneur and winemaker and about Austria as a start-up country. In the podcast, he tells us why he was not born into viticulture, why he uses cycling - as he says himself - to combat his "hyperactivity" and why he is particularly fond of Burgenland. He also told us about how he fights bullying, how his family always gives him strength, how his consistency has helped him to succeed and how he is personally committed to supporting young talent. We also packed a little either/or game. What did he decide? Listen in!

My father was a pure wine merchant, we had three wines: White wine, red wine and semi-dry. It was a simple wine trade. We didn't even have one hectare of vineyard. How did I manage it? You have to read my book: "Consistency, consistency, consistency". It's all in there - the ups and downs of my life.
Leo Hillinger, winegrower, successful entrepreneur and investor
Behind-the-scenes

The podcast was recorded by presenter Jennifer Joó, who works in the marketing department at Burgenland University of Applied Sciences and is herself a graduate of the university. Fun fact: the recording studio quickly became a "sweat stadium", as the ventilation inside was not sufficient when it was 36 degrees outside. Fortunately, the picture was taken at the beginning ;-) "The interview was very entertaining and it was a very cool experience for me to experience such a personality live. Thank you for talking to Leo Hillinger and for the tips on the perfect summer spritz," says Jennifer.
