When choosing our research partners from science and industry, the maxim of professional relevance to the topic and/or geographical proximity to the University of Applied Sciences Burgenland applies.
In the area of higher education, we cooperate primarily with institutions from Central and Eastern Europe due to the department's focus on this geographical area. The University of Economics Prague, the University of Economics in Bratislava, the School of Economics and Business, University of Sarajevo, Eszterházy Károly University and the University of Maribor, Faculty of Business and Economics are long-standing project and research partners and represent a large network of international cooperation partners.
From research projects we have further project cooperations with the University of Graz, the University of Paderborn, the DHBW Ravensburg, the Universidad Europea, and others.
Students interested in research have the opportunity to apply for a PhD programme in cooperation with Andrássy University Budapest (AUB) after their Master's degree.
