AHA experiences during your studies
He heads up the external training department there. "First aid is my area of responsibility," he explains. He is responsible for around 70 lecturers throughout Burgenland. He is currently heavily involved in the Austria-wide project "First Aid in a Big Way". "We want to lower the inhibition threshold," explains Johannes. "Many people don't have the confidence to help. We're trying to change that."
He himself would never have thought that he would end up at the Red Cross. He gained his first experience through traditional community service and has remained loyal to the organisation ever since. Johannes Huber, student at the FH Burgenland
He also believes that the technical content from his bachelor's degree programme in Information, Media & Communication can be used anywhere.
Johannes remains fascinated by the Red Cross. "As a full-time employee, it's simply important and nice to be there for my colleagues and offer support. The gratitude of the patients also gives you a lot."
