(Experience Design Specialist at The LEGO Foundation) - The transformative power of play-based learning
“Think back to a moment when you truly enjoyed learning something new. What made it stick? Chances are, it wasn’t just information—it was an experience.”
Today, I want to show you how PLAY can be a powerful tool—not just in childhood development but in how we work, communicate, and innovate. Play helps us connect, think creatively, and make lasting impressions on audiences and stakeholders. The same principles that shape children's learning—curiosity, experimentation, and collaboration—apply just as much to business and engineering.

How much excitement or outrage is beneficial to a cause and when does the harm outweigh the benefit?
On the positive side, outrage can be seen as an expression of civic engagement and political interest. Excitement can lead to uncovering grievances and initiating change. On the other hand, this excitement can lead to polarisation, intolerance and an intensification of conflicts within society and the economy.
In short: How much excitement or outrage is beneficial to a cause and when does the harm outweigh the benefit?

Hot summers with record temperatures, droughts, forest fires and extreme storms have dominated the headlines for years. Marcus Wadsak provides the latest scientific findings with answers to the most burning questions on the subject of climate change.
It's hot and getting hotter. What is happening to our planet and in which direction are we heading? And above all: what can we do to ensure that our children and grandchildren can still live well?
The time to act is now. The focus here is on the mobility, energy and food sectors. Because we are the first generation to feel the consequences and the last to be able to do something about it!
Q/A session: Following the event, you will have the opportunity to put questions to Mr Wadsak in an ONLINE Q/A session!
