The Austrian Student Union (Österreichische HochschülerInnenschaft, ÖH) is the legal representation of students' interests and has regional and degree programme representatives who will support you locally. At www.oeh.ac.at you can find more information about the federal representation.
The ÖH UAS Burgenland has existed since 2008 and has been advocating for the concerns of its students ever since. Whether in everyday student life or in personal matters - we are there for you!

The deadlines for submitting election proposals and candidacies have passed. In accordance with § 32 para. 3 HSWO 2014, we hereby announce the election proposals and candidacies:

Pursuant to § 63 HSWO 2014, the election results of the ÖH elections held at the University of Applied Sciences Burgenland on 5, 6 and 11 May 2023 are hereby announced:

Ombudsman's office for students
As of 01 October 2021, the University of Applied Sciences Burgenland has established a student ombudsman's office. The primary tasks of this ombudsman's office include conflict resolution and mediation in the event of concerns, wishes and misunderstandings between the programme management, lecturers, staff and students. The ombudsman's office should also be available as a low-threshold contact point for concerns, complaints and requests of all kinds.
