A specialised internship as a translator made her realise that her student job in a social media marketing agency was actually more "hers". In order to consolidate her professional experience in online communication and marketing academically, she completed a Master's degree in Digital Media and Communication at the Burgenland University of Applied Sciences, which she graduated from in 2021. "I attach great importance to academic foundations. The degree programme at FH Burgenland provided very comprehensive knowledge in many areas. You never stop learning, I am convinced of that."
Looking back, she is particularly grateful for the variety of subjects.
You learn something in so many areas, but it's not superficial. That's very important in our industry. You need to see the big picture, because all communication channels play together - the degree programme prepares you well for this.

Professionally, she is now part of the Department of Communication and Public Relations at the Medical University of Vienna. As an employee for digital communication and social media, she is responsible for analysing and further developing the social media strategy and other digital communication channels such as the newsletter.
For her master's thesis "The credibility of scientific information in social media - a content analysis using the example of COVID-19 on Facebook in Austria", she received an award for student excellence from the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research.
