When she was around seven years old, Madeleine Gromann decided that she would one day present the news on ORF.

The determined journalist has been fulfilling this wish since winter 2021. She presents news programmes for ORF and also works as an editor for ZIB Chronik.

Madeleine Gromann completed the "Höhere Graphische Bundes- Lehr- und Versuchsanstalt", a speech and moderation training programme and a bachelor's degree in journalism and media communication at the Vienna University of Applied Sciences. She began her journalistic career in 2016 in private television and radio before completing internships at the ORF Vienna regional studio in 2018 and 2019. She has been working there as an editor since 2020. She has been part of the "ZIB" Chronicle team at the ORF Centre since May 2021.

In addition to a Master's degree in Political Science at the University of Vienna, she is also studying for a Master's degree in Digital Media and Communication at the Burgenland University of Applied Sciences.

Her professional life also remains varied. "I produce news reports for Zeit im Bild and present the information programmes on ORF1. Both tasks are very exciting. I enjoy familiarising myself with a different topic every day, getting to know interesting people and experiencing extraordinary things at
