The voice from the Hitradio Ö3 studio

In summer, I am the host of the Ö3 ice-cream attack, travelling all over Austria and handing out free ice-cream. Everything you hear about it on the radio comes from me.
He currently presents evening and night-time programmes on Ö3 (Ö3 Nu-Stuff, Ö3-Hitnacht). This means that he comes to the station late in the evening, prepares himself and is then on air all night. In addition to my programmes, as a programme designer I also come up with things for the Ö3 alarm clock. In summer, I'm also on the road all over the country with the Ö3 ice attack. So it never gets boring, for me it's the "coolest" job there is," enthuses FH Burgenland student Philipp Bergsmann.
He is also hard-working in his studies. Philipp gained two years of professional experience after completing his Bachelor's degree in Communication Management at FH Wien der WKW. After that, however, he was drawn back to the lecture theatre. "At FH Burgenland, I found a part-time Master's degree programme in Information Media Communication that was a perfect match for my interests and could be easily combined with my job."
He decided in favour of Information Media Communication for the following reasons: "Because it's an incredibly exciting professional field. The industry is changing, nobody knows what the media landscape will really look like in five years' time. I am convinced that we are well prepared at the UAS for this challenge of helping to shape the future in this field. What's more, I was completely without a plan in computer science. It doesn't hurt to know at least a little bit about programming!" His first highlight of the degree programme was the excursion to Berlin: "Our first study trip to the "re:publica" media festival in Berlin was very cool. We "learnt" a lot and slept very little! ;-)"
He has the following tip for anyone interested: " It's not always easy to juggle everything on a part-time degree programme. But it pays to keep at it. Don't let up, even when things get "tough"!
And: FH Burgenland is located in the centre of the best wine region in the country. I would just like to leave it at that ;-)
