Christmas is coming...
The "Bake a cake - eat a cake for a good cause" campaign has been taking place in Pinkafeld for three years now. Last year, homemade pastries such as cakes, biscuits and muffins were offered to students and staff, with proceeds of 750 euros going to Sterntalerhof . In 2018, the proceeds will go to the charity organisation "Sports for Hope"

International Christmas
Campus Eisenstadt
Every year around Christmas time, our campus in Eisenstadt takes on an even more international flair, as our international guest students from the various mobility programmes such as "Erasmus" or "Ceepus" enchant us at Christmas with culinary delicacies from their home countries.
This creates an informal cultural exchange and students can use the language skills they have acquired during their studies.
Light into the dark!
Campus Eisenstadt
Since the 45th anniversary year of "Licht ins Dunkel" in 2017, students on the Bachelor's degree programme in Information, Media & Communication have been working together with ORF Burgenland to create TV and online reports. "Licht ins Dunkel" coordinator and editor Doris Fennes-Wagner and ORF Burgenland technicians are helping the students with image design, camera work and editing.
In small groups, the students are given the opportunity to choose the topic of the film themselves, shoot the film themselves and then edit it into a 2 to 5-minute commercial.
Behind the scenes
If you would like to know what the students experienced in the last academic year as part of this project, we recommend the following link to their own "Making of Licht ins Dunkel" blog.
Five years of WunschPunsch
Campus Eisenstadt

This year, "WunschPunsch" is celebrating its fifth anniversary. It all started with the first students on the Bachelor's degree programme in Social Work and the idea of launching a charitable campaign. Due to the time of year, the first "WunschPunsch - Punschen für den guten Zweck" was quickly launched. Due to the focus on "child, youth and family support" in the degree programme, it was clear that families in Burgenland should be helped with the donations.
Students in the first semester of the Bachelor's degree programme in Social Work have since been asked to continue this tradition. On the one hand, this enables them to get to know their new colleagues better, but also to organise themselves and work together properly for the first time.
Every year, several thousand euros are raised through the Wish Punch and donated to organisations and projects in Burgenland!
