Fit & safe at work: health & safety days

Gesundheits- & Sicherheitstage

The well-being and health of all employees is of central importance. That's why  the first Health and Safety Days were launched at FH Burgenland at the beginning of October 2024 - an inspiring and varied programme that was open to all employees of the FH Burgenland Group. The response was extremely positive, and colleagues at both locations enthusiastically took up the offer.

Successful start to the first Health & Safety Days

From vaccination passport checks, fat fire extinguishing, first aid courses and driver safety training to physiotherapy and occupational therapy stations, vital signs checks and eye tests - the stations offered comprehensive information and practical insights into various aspects of health promotion and safety in the workplace. The programme was rounded off by occupational psychology, with information on various supplementary insurance offers. A special highlight was the competition, in which around 100 participants had the chance to win great prizes, including spa vouchers.

It was only possible to organise all of this thanks to the commitment of our colleagues from the Department of Health & Social Affairs, including Nadine Graf, Erik Hansen, Marlene Szupper and Andrea Wappel, who made the station operations possible. Without their commitment, this extensive programme would not have been possible. The management of the FH Burgenland Group also deserve special thanks for making it possible for employees to take part in this event during working hours.

The organisation team Nina Wallner, Michael Weiß, Carmen Steinhöfler and Alexandra Baldwin would also like to thank all colleagues for their participation and keen interest in this offer. Your positive feedback and active participation encourage us to organise the Health and Safety Days again in the coming years.
