#GoodbyeEisenstadt - Tamara's internship in Munich

This time, our blog post series "#GoodbyeEisenstadt" is all about Tamara, who completed her internship in Munich. In today's post, you can find out why Tamara chose Germany this time after her semester abroad in Finland and what she experienced during her internship in the music business.

Why did you decide to do an internship abroad?

I am studying for a Bachelor's degree in Information, Media & Communication. I spent the semester before my internship in Finland. Getting to know a new country, a new culture and new people was a great enrichment for my personality. That's why I quickly decided to do my compulsory internship abroad as well. This time, however, I didn't want to go quite so far away and looked for advertised internships in the music business in Germany.

In the end, I ended up in Munich with Eskapaden Musik and Edition Enforcer. The Eskapaden agency is divided into a music label, booking agency and management. It includes artists such as Afrob, Sepalot, Moop Mama and DJane Josi Miller. Edition Enforcer is also responsible for the management of artists, including Samy Deluxe and Jesper Munk.

What were your tasks? Which projects have you been involved in? What did you learn?

The big projects I was involved in were: Product management & design for an upcoming album release and helping to plan a tour. I also looked after the social media channels and other things that were going on in the office, and of course I was also able to attend concerts and events.

"The internship gave me the opportunity to use the knowledge I already had from my studies, but also to learn a lot of new things, e.g. in the field of music law."

How would you describe your internship experience overall?

From the very first day, I was warmly welcomed into the team, I was immediately given responsibility and was always given plenty of room for my creativity. In the four months I was happy to get up every morning to go to work, which was perhaps also due to the fact that the working day in our office started at "10 o'clock".

"The work gave me a lot of pleasure and showed me which career direction I would take in the future. Of course, my bosses were also supportive, as they not only taught me a lot, but were also always role models."
