The reason for this is that he attended the free preparatory course at the Burgenland University of Applied Sciences last year in order to acquire the necessary entry requirements. He was already familiar with the institution and still holds it in high regard.
All of the lecturers take great care to teach the content in an understandable and comprehensible way and to respond to individual questions. Some of the colleagues I met on the preparatory course are now also on my degree programme. This made it very easy for me to make connections.

How did he decide to study? "I found out about the Burgenland University of Applied Sciences through an acquaintance who had successfully completed the Building Technology and Building Automation degree programme there. He had similar personal circumstances to me, as he also had a family and a very time-intensive job. That motivated me and showed me that the part-time degree programme at FH Burgenland was the right decision for me."
Bernhard initially had reservations about coronavirus. "However, UAS Burgenland handled the situation very skilfully and I never had the feeling that I was at a disadvantage due to coronavirus."
