Anyone who follows FH Burgenland on Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok already had Bianca Nastl on their radar.

She manages the social media channels of FH Burgenland, is responsible for community management and content production, writes blog posts and conducts interviews for the in-house podcast Campus Talk.

The 24-year-old also prepares complicated content in the form of easy-to-understand short videos, known as Campus Lessons, for the young target group. They cover topics such as scholarships, artificial intelligence and IT security. In doing so, she repeatedly demonstrates her great talent for communication, her acting skills and her versatility.

Bianca graduated from the Handelsakademie Eisenstadt and went on to study for a Bachelor's degree in Information, Media & Communication at the Burgenland University of Applied Sciences, specialising in online communication, information design, journalism, social media and information management.

At the age of 20, she began writing articles for various platforms as an online editor. She also gained experience as a graphic designer and content creator as part of an internship before finally accepting a full-time position as an editor at the Kronenzeitung newspaper. She joined the Marketing and Communication team at FH Burgenland in January 2022.

What I like about my job is that I can contribute creatively, whether it's designing concepts for campaigns, writing blog posts or creating the podcast. I also think it's nice to be involved in something that makes a positive contribution to the future - I can use my voice in a meaningful way, for example when I take up topics from the field of energy & environment or make our new Bachelor's degree programme International Sustainable Business visible on social media & co.

Of course, the video shooting days for TikTok and Instagram, podcast interviews with exciting experts, "tracking down" current trends and much more are also very varied. "My field of work is currently very diverse - just like my degree programme itself. I was specifically prepared for the fact that more and more generalists are in demand in the media industry," says Bianca about her comprehensive training at FH Burgenland.
