A love of recruiting

She was already interested in economic topics when she was at school: "I did a commercial apprenticeship and then completed my bachelor's degree in European economics and business management." Emina had actually always thought that she would end up in accounting.

However, she worked in HR departments throughout her career and discovered her love of recruiting.

In addition to the focus on labour law, the recruiting module also helped Emina a lot.

After completing her Master's degree, Emina also made a career change. At pidas, an IT support company, she is employed as a Recruiting Specialist in a generalist role. She is involved in the entire process, from designing job adverts to interviews and drawing up contracts.

In her master's thesis, she asked how remote work affects creativity in work teams. She interviewed teams that were completely working from home. "It turned out that remote work has a very positive effect on individual creativity. For group creativity, on the other hand, there is a lack of personal interaction," she explains.

In the long term, Emina can imagine developing further in the direction of coaching and supervision.
