Destigmatising taboo topics with e-learning
The aim is to focus on multipliers in public institutions and the non-profit sector (doctors, psychologists, psychotherapists, nursing staff, schools and educational institutions, police, AMS, etc.) in order to raise awareness of the taboo topics of sexual and psychological violence by imparting knowledge. The course is disseminated via the professional network (e.g. Gemeinsam gegen Gewalt, women's counselling centres, medical association) of the women's and family counselling centre "Der Lichtblick".
Sensitisation through knowledge
The series of courses serves to raise awareness of taboo topics through appropriate educational work. After all, sexual and psychological violence are social phenomena that people are reluctant to talk about. The aim is to focus more on multipliers in public institutions and in the non-profit sector and to provide them with relevant information. The target group should be supported in responding appropriately when those affected seek help.
The e-learning course series is divided into three modules: Sexual Violence, Psychological Violence and Recommendations for Action. By completing the course series, users can acquire the following skills:
- Recognise and name sexual and psychological violence
- Differentiate between different forms of violence
- Identify courses of action, learn about the possibilities of legal aid and legal principles
- Consequences and measures in cases of sexual and psychological violence
- Applying knowledge in practice
