Projects on topics relevant to women
After studying psychology at the University of Vienna, she completed a Master's degree in European Studies - Management of EU Projects at the Burgenland University of Applied Sciences a few years later. She completed this in summer 2021 and plans to use the expertise she acquired during her studies to implement international projects on topics relevant to women at European level.

I have been interested in the European dimension for a long time. 80% of everything that happens in Austria at legislative level is decided in Brussels. We are part of a big picture - I wanted to understand this in a wider context.
Claudia Prudic, graduate of the FH Burgenland
She was able to put the knowledge she acquired during her studies at the Burgenland University of Applied Sciences directly into practice in a current project to mark International Women's Day. "My team colleagues - excitingly, many of them men - worked with me on a real project from my day-to-day work using project management tools," she explains.
In her Master's thesis , Claudia Prudic looked at the effects of the coronavirus pandemic on the distribution of care work in families. The psychologist surveyed 430 people in eastern Austria. According to her, married women are the losers of the crisis. Despite everything, the legal framework conditions for women in the EU are far better than elsewhere. A new EU directive, which will come into force in Austria in August 2022, gives reason to hope for equality. Its primary aim is to attract more fathers to childcare and promote gender equality in the world of work through an improved legal framework.
In the current project, Claudia Prudic is surveying the financial education of women on behalf of the state of Lower Austria. Interested women are cordially invited to take part in the survey at www.wendepunkt.or.at/geldheldinnen.
