"I manage a sports association with everything that goes with it - from grassroots sport to elite sport. I take care of organisation, sponsorship and communication," describes Weigl. After studying journalism and communication sciences at the University of Vienna, Marcel Weigl's goal was to acquire business knowledge in a Master's programme to round off his profile.

I also wanted to be better informed about EU funding programmes.

At FH Burgenland, the Master's degree programme in European Studies - Management of EU Projects gave him exactly what he was looking for. "The English language of instruction also convinced me to enrol on the programme. The highlights were definitely our excursions to Brussels and Belgrade."

Of course, a part-time degree programme is always challenging, he explains. "However, the FH Burgenland offers a concept that makes studying alongside a job absolutely possible. For me, it was the best degree programme available."
