Computer science teacher Stefan Scheiblecker is studying for a part-time Master's degree in e-learning and knowledge management.

A degree programme that is in high demand among educators. The programme combines content from the fields of e-learning, knowledge management and the design of digital media. According to Scheiblecker, these are areas that urgently need more attention in the school system. He and four fellow students created the "Digilino" learning platform for this purpose. The aim is to develop digital skills in a contemporary and self-directed way. A nationwide roll-out is planned for the start of school in 2022/2023.

What the teacher liked about the degree programme, which he will be completing in the next few days, was the practical content and exercises.

It really was a project-orientated course of study and I was definitely able to broaden my horizons.

Stefan Scheiblecker , student at the FH Burgenland

As a technology fan, he was enthusiastic about the e-learning units in the degree programme.

He was motivated to study by various recommendations from his environment and the desire to further develop his school as an organisation. "Making processes transparent and visible is also important in a school context."
