Simone Callegaro from Padua in Italy is studying for a semester at the FH Burgenland in Eisenstadt.

He is completing a management degree programme at his home university, the University of Milan. At the University of Applied Sciences Burgenland, he is gaining experience on the Bachelor's degree programme in International Business Relations.

What he particularly likes about studying here is the practical approach.

We do a lot of group work in the courses and you can try things out and discuss them.

Simone Callegaro from Padua

Professionally, he would like to gain a foothold in management. He can already look back on some experience as a trainee in accounting, administration and management.

Although he misses his friends and family in Italy, he is also happy about the new friendships he has made at the student residence in Eisenstadt. They often cook together - preferably Italian, as the young student misses Italian cuisine.

The enthusiastic singer, who takes part in two gospel choirs in Italy, has also quickly made friends in Burgenland when it comes to music. In October, he supported the Burgenland Provincial Youth Choir at concerts in Halbturn and Salzburg. The repertoire included songs in English, German and Austrian dialect. ?
