Two alumni at the College of Europe
Julius H. and Jasmin Y. are now studying together with high potentials from all over the world at Europe's oldest postgraduate institution.
At the locations in Bruges (Belgium), Natolin (Poland) and Tirana (Albania), university graduates deepen their knowledge in the fields of economics, political science, law or international relations. In addition to a dense curriculum, the one-year programme also offers unique opportunities for networking and personal development.
Julius H. is involved as President of the Security and Defence Society on campus alongside his studies. Jasmin Y. heads the DACH Society, which promotes networking between students from Germany, Austria and Switzerland and also offers a diverse programme for all students. Both describe the year as an enormously intensive experience: "We previously studied part-time, and of course this is something completely different here," says Jasmin. Despite the tight programme, they enjoy the special college feeling in the medieval setting of Bruges.
They see their Master's programme at the University of Applied Sciences Burgenland as ideal preparation: "The English course and the opportunity to learn French alone were very valuable. We are familiar with many of the topics from our studies and study trips, so we can definitely keep up here," confirms Julius.

"It is a great opportunity to meet high-ranking personalities from politics and diplomacy and to build up an international network."
emphasises Julius, graduate of the Master's degree programme "European Studies - Management of EU Projects"
These successes are a great endorsement for the students and the University of Applied Sciences alike Burgenland.
