About Erasmus+ in Vilnius - Youtube travelogues included
"Vilnius is pretty unknown, many people don't even know whether it's the capital of Lithuania or Latvia. But the city is beautiful, very young and modern with almost 60,000 students and there's a lot going on - lots of cool pubs, clubs and events.
ESN (Erasmus Student Network) organised many trips and different events almost every week, so it was very easy to make lots of new friends and contacts. The social life in Vilnius was therefore very good (I did many activities such as visiting the animal shelter, half marathon in Vilnius, kayaking on the Vilnele river).
Vilnius University, founded in 1579, is the oldest university in Eastern Europe and has the oldest and newest library in the entire Baltic region. It was a special feeling when I walked from the Faculty of International Relations to my Russian class in the old campus through the streets of Vilnius Old Town.
One of the best experiences during my semester was definitely travelling. The location of Vilnius allowed me to travel a lot - Lapland, Riga, Tallinn, Helsinki, Stockholm, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Warsaw and all the beautiful places in Lithuania - yes, I did it all in 5 months and on my travel channel on YouTube. I would repeat my Erasmus in Lithuania in a heartbeat and can only recommend it to anyone."
