Leading companies into a digital future
He enrolled at the University of Vienna and Vienna University of Technology and began working as a project team assistant in the management consultancy sector. His talent in the IT sector was quickly recognised there and from then on he primarily worked as a consultant on IT projects. "It was all about process analysis, requirements, test and project management," he explains.
In 2020, he decided to take on a new job and started a bachelor's degree programme in IT Infrastructure Management at FH Burgenland in Eisenstadt at the same time. Since then, he has been an IT project manager in Human Resources at the logistics company Dachser. He completed his degree in 2022. He has nothing but praise for his time at FH Burgenland.

The degree programme was very well structured. The balance between theory and practice was great. The lecturers were very helpful across the board. They taught a lot of theory and fed it with their own practical examples.
Markus Loboda, graduate of the FH Burgenland
Markus Loboda found the mix in the curriculum particularly exciting. In addition to traditional IT topics, business fundamentals, social skills, project management and English were also taught intensively.
Professionally, his expertise is now even more in demand after graduation than before. As far as his professional development is concerned, he says: "I don't have a specific position in mind. I'm more interested in improving processes in the company with the help of IT and helping to lead the company into a digital future." He has not yet decided whether he will go on to study at university.
