Two new students at the entrance to the Pinkafeld campus

Andreas Wessner from Ziersdorf and Chung Tek Shan from Vienna both started the Master's degree programme in Building Technology and Facility Management at the Pinkafeld campus in September.

As they had already studied Urban Renewable Energy Technologies together in Vienna and the field of building services engineering aroused their interest, they both decided to continue their studies on the Master's degree programme in Building Services Engineering and Facility Management at the Burgenland University of Applied Sciences.

I would like to acquire in-depth knowledge of hydraulics. As the FH Burgenland is internationally recognised and has a good reputation, I feel I'm in good hands here.

Andreas is also glad that he opted for the Master's degree programme, because "it gives you a competitive advantage over the competition in the working world and you learn how to put theory into practice straight away". They came to Pinkafeld together for the start of the programme. Now they are particularly excited about the subjects of hydraulics, control engineering and ventilation engineering.
