He really enjoyed the subject "Social Management and Applied Project Management" while he was still at school. It soon became clear to him that this was exactly the professional field in which he wanted to gain a foothold after leaving school.
Lukas found out about the FH Burgenland programme from the careers advisor at his school.
She said she had only heard positive things from graduates. The family atmosphere on campus was particularly emphasised. After hearing this, it was clear to me that I would also apply to Eisenstadt, as I am a person who prefers to work in a warm environment rather than one where I am just one number among many.

The campus was not entirely new to him on his first day of study. "Because I had already attended a course to refresh my English before I actually started my studies, I already knew some of my colleagues in advance."
Lukas currently has no concerns about studying during the pandemic. "In my opinion, a 3G certificate is a reliable basis for ramping up teaching on site again, but also for ensuring safety," he says.
What Lukas is particularly looking forward to during his studies: "Apart from life at the UAS, I'm looking forward to the internships, which I hope to complete in many different areas and countries, as they will allow me to experience the diverse structures of social work."
