She has been interested in economic topics since her school days. Her professional development ultimately led her to IT project management. In order to be able to score points there with sound knowledge, she decided to complete the Master's programme in Business Process Engineering and Management at the Burgenland University of Applied Sciences during her educational leave.

The degree programme was the right overall package for me. We focused heavily on current topics and dealt with agile approaches, AI and digitalisation.
Sabrina Laboureix, graduate
She wrote her Master's thesis on risk management in agile and hybrid projects.
"What impressed me was the family atmosphere at FH Burgenland, the support from the programme director and our lecturers and, above all, the team spirit among the students."
Starting a degree programme as a mother of two small children and finishing it as a mother of three was made possible by good time management and family support. Grandparents and dad were allowed to take over childcare on the weekends when classes were held at the UAS. Now Sabrina Laboureix is taking a year of well-deserved academic and professional leave.
