Four new degree programmes open for registration

Anyone wishing to study at the Burgenland University of Applied Sciences from autumn onwards should register online by 31 March for Bachelor's degree programmes and by 31 May for Master's degree programmes.

The Bachelor's degree programmes in Biomedical Sciences, Radiological Technology and Business Information Systems and the Master's degree programme in AI Solution Engineering can be studied at Burgenland University of Applied Sciences from autumn. Enrolments are already open.

Eisenstadt/Pinkafeld,  December 20 2025: Burgenland University of Applied Sciences is offering a wider range of degree programmes and more study places than ever before in the coming academic year.

New will be:

- Bachelor's degree programme in Biomedical Sciences with 15 places for beginners at the Pinkafeld campus, with courses from Monday to Thursday to enable students to work.

- Bachelor's degree programme in Radiological Technology with 15 places for beginners at the Pinkafeld campus, with courses from Monday to Thursday to enable students to work

- Bachelor's degree programme in Business Information Systems with 25 places for beginners at the Eisenstadt campus, part-time with courses at weekends (Fri afternoon and Sat all day) and online teaching

- Master's degree programme in AI Solution Engineering with 25 places for beginners at the Eisenstadt campus, part-time with courses at weekends (Fri afternoon and Sat all day) and online teaching

- 15 additional study places per year will also be added to the Bachelor's degree programme in Social Work at Campus Eisenstadt, full-time or part-time.

All new degree programmes will start in autumn 2025, subject to approval by AQ-Austria - Agency for Quality Assurance.

Degree programme opens up life opportunities

Each of these study places represents a great 'opportunity for life' for an individual young person and an important overall contribution to our society, the economy and the healthcare system.

Studying without tuition fees
There are still no tuition fees for studying at Burgenland University of Applied Sciences. There is a wide range of part-time degree programmes on offer.

Those interested can apply for a place on a degree programme at www.hochschule-burgenland.at. The application deadline for Bachelor's degree programmes is March 31 2025, for Master's degree programmesMay 31 2025. Advice is available online or by telephone.
