Graduation Ceremony for 370 Graduates
Eisenstadt, September 7th , 2024 – While the academic journey is just beginning for 1,100 new students, it came to a ceremonial close for 370 students of UAS Burgenland at the graduation ceremony. They successfully completed their Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes, as well as continuing education courses. The graduation ceremonies took place in six sessions over two days. Among those offering congratulations was Daniela Winkler, member of the regional government.
I congratulate all graduates on their academic achievement. They have successfully completed a significant stage of their lives. With the successful completion of their studies at UAS Burgenland, they have built a solid foundation for their future and are now facing a new, challenging chapter. I wish them great success in their future endeavors, a fulfilling and interesting professional life, and, of course, all the best personally. My thanks also go to everyone who supported them on their way, whether in the personal circles of the students or at the educational institutions that guide and support young people on this challenging journey."

Student-Friendly University Still Has some Places Available
UAS Burgenland’s Rector, Gernot Hanreich, and Vice-Rector Bettina Schauer-Frank awarded academic titles to students from almost all the programmes offered by the university over the two days. "We see ourselves as a university with a personal touch," said the Rector. UAS Burgenland enables a large percentage of students to continue working while studying. It is also one of the few universities in Austria that does not charge tuition fees. For quick decision-makers, there are still some available spots in certain programmes.
