Lots of interest in studying

Eisenstadt/Pinkafeld, 9 December 2025: If you are interested in studying, you will find more education than ever before at Burgenland University of Applied Sciences. Almost 500 interested people found out about this last Friday. The morning was reserved for the visit of 180 pupils from seven regional schools. They took part in workshops and learnt more about Burgenland University of Applied Sciences. In the afternoon, numerous people took advantage of the comprehensive advisory services on offer at the study centres in Eisenstadt and Pinkafeld.

Some facts about the educational institution:

• 32 Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes are available in the fields of Energy & Environment, Health & Social Affairs, Information Technology or Business.
• People without a school-leaving certificate can acquire a university entrance qualification via a one-year preparatory course offered free of charge and on a part-time basis.
• Bachelor's degree programmes last three years and are offered either full-time or part-time with attendance on Friday afternoons and Saturdays.
• All Master's degree programmes can also be takenpart-time.
• There are currently over 3,000 full-time students at the university.

Interested visitors were able to meet some of them at the information afternoon. Heads of degree programmes were also available to answer any questions. Guests were able to get to know the study centres better during campus tours. More information at www.hochschule-burgenland.at

Tip: It is already possible to register for all degree programmes for the 2025/26 academic year. The application deadline is 31 March for all Bachelor's degree programmes and 31 May 2026 for all Master's degree programmes. More at www.hochschule-burgenland.at
