Study information in person and now also via chatbot
Eisenstadt/Pinkafeld, 23 March 2026 - More education than ever before. This is what the Burgenland University of Applied Sciences offers those hungry for education in 2026. 540 of them visited the study centres in Eisenstadt and Pinkafeld in person on Saturday. After all, there are 32 Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes to choose from - more than ever before.
More than 7,000 regular and non-degree students are currently studying in four departments - namely Energy & Environment, Health & Social Affairs, Information Technology and Business and in numerous Master's programmes in academic continuing education.
If you would like to start your studies in autumn, you should apply quickly for a place on the university's website. The application deadline for Bachelor's degree programmes is 31 March, after which you can still apply for remaining places. The last day to apply for Master's programmes is 31 May. The InfoLine on 05 7705 3500 or via mobile phone and WhatsApp on 0043 664 8813 4559 is also available for personal counselling after the InfoDay.
Helia provides support
A new and unique feature is the opportunity to get advice via chatbot Helia. She is available to answer questions outside of opening hours. Students on the Master's degree programme in E-Learning and Knowledge Management developed and tested a chatbot for the university's website as part of their practical project in the third semester. Helia guides those seeking advice through decision-making processes in a structured manner and provides competent information on questions relating to the content of the degree programme.
