Together through your studies
They are employed full-time and are studying part-time. Daniel started his degree programme at the Office of the Burgenland Provincial Government. After the second semester, he moved to the Vienna Health Association.
Manuel has been working as a project manager at Landesimmobilien Burgenland GmbH since starting the programme.
"The idea for the degree programme came from Daniel's former supervisor. He drew his attention to the possibility of a part-time degree programme at Burgenland University of Applied Sciences. After a few hours of research, it was clear to us that we would enrol on the Bachelor's degree programme in Energy and Environmental Management," explains Manuel.
Why did they choose this particular degree programme?

In view of the extreme weather events caused by climate change and the associated existential threat to every human being, we see it as our responsibility to expand our intellectual abilities through study in order to seek and develop structural measures that can best mitigate the negative consequences of climate change.

While the advantages of studying together are that you can learn together and always have a partner for project work, the biggest disadvantage is having to spend a long time discussing topics on which we disagree.
Nevertheless, the two conclude: "Together we are an unbeatable team. You always have a partner who supports and understands you. Always think positively and look ahead."
