Intelligent energy and climate strategies

Energy - Buildings - Environment

This year you have the opportunity to present your contribution in one of the three parallel, topic-specific lecture blocks - Energy, Buildings and Environment - and discuss it with international experts during the conference.

Conceived as an international scientific conference, e-nova is aimed at both the scientific community and professionals in the field. Contributions from both groups from the field of application-related research and development will provide an overview of the state of scientific development as well as the possibilities and status of practical professional and market-related realisation.

Energy

The energy supply of the future should be reliable, user-friendly, climate-friendly and affordable. The energy transition required for this is already in full swing, based on the European climate law "Fit for 55", which aims to reduce emissions by at least 55% by 2030. The aim is to ensure a fair and socially just transition, maintain and strengthen the EU's innovation and competitiveness and underpin Europe's position as a pioneer in the global fight against climate change.

Buildings

Current endeavours at European level, such as the Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the Taxonomy Regulation, have created a framework that should significantly increase the implementation rate of zero-emission buildings. The associated economic incentives are increasingly forcing the construction industry to develop more sustainable properties. However, this requires new overall technical solutions and business models.

Environment

Preserving an environment worth living in requires new technological solutions and creative approaches. Changes to the legal framework and methods for strengthening a circular economy as well as innovative environmental technologies and environmental assessment methods will be discussed.

Selection of presentations

All submitted abstracts will be submitted to the scientific advisory board for selection. Selection criteria are topicality and relevance in relation to the conference topics, content and presentation.

In addition to the scientific lecture programme, a poster exhibition and company exhibition (5 minutes presentation each) and the publication of a conference volume in the Science.Research.Pannonia series (Holzhausen - Der Verlag) are planned.

Each congress lecture will be allocated 15 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for discussion with the congress participants.

Outstanding contributions will be honored with a Best Paper Award at the conference.

Authors of selected contributions will be invited to a subsequent peer-reviewed publication based on the work presented.
