Back to Kitti: she has just completed her Bachelor's degree programme in International Management and HR at FH Wiener Neustadt. She has already been accepted onto the Master's programme in European Studies and Management of EU Projects.

Many factors led to her decision to study here: she specialised in economics, geography, history and English while still at school in Sopron. She has already gained her first international experience in student projects during her Bachelor's degree and in two stays abroad in Spain and Poland funded by the Erasmus + programme. Professionally, she is currently an intern in the HR department at OMV. Issues that are important to her are gender equality, sustainability and democracy.

And there is another, politically very topical motivator: coming from an avowedly pro-European family, Kitti is delighted about the change in the Hungarian government. Professionally she would like to make her contribution at EU level and get involved in the EU Parliament or the European Commission.

What is she looking forward to in the English-language, part-time degree programme at Burgenland University of Applied Sciences?

The fact that the Burgenland University of Applied Sciences does not charge tuition fees was also a decisive factor in her decision, she says. And: "The fact that I will have the opportunity to learn French during my studies. That's an important prerequisite for working at EU level."
