You can build anything
Even as a toddler, his father tells us that he loved doing maths in the bathtub. And - even when it wasn't raining "A's", numbers were his favourite thing at school. It was during his Bachelor's degree at FH Campus 02 that he realised, firstly, that accounting really suited him and, secondly, that you have to "bite into it if you want to achieve something". No sooner said than done. He followed his bachelor's degree with a master's degree in International Business Relations, specialising in Financial Management, at the University of Applied Sciences Burgenland in Eisenstadt.
Some lecturers recognised the potential and, above all, the drive of the young Burgenlander. "I still have a friendly relationship with some of my lecturers today. I owe them a lot," says Florian. Crypto expert Matthias Reder, for example, paved the way for him to enter the start-up scene.
On 1 July 2023, the then 28-year-old and Fabian Hemmerich founded mytalents.ai, which they claim is the largest AI learning platform in the DACH region. The start-up makes employees fit for the use of AI tools in their day-to-day work. "We jumped on the bandwagon right after the release of Chat GPT. AI is simply relevant for everyone. We grew up very quickly, learnt a lot and, of course, made a lot of mistakes," he says, summing up the intensive past few years.
His current company Northscope is dedicated to the goal of automating controlling processes with AI. He has this message for others with vision:

"Everyone can go their own way and realise their goals. You can build anything!"
