A twin pack of power and motivation
They simultaneously studied on the Master's degree programme in Digital Media and Communication at Burgenland University of Applied Sciences and now pass on their knowledge to students as lecturers in the Department of Business. There they inspire with team spirit and communication at eye level in the field of International Marketing Management.

The practical orientation and the respectful interaction with each other, whether among lecturers, with the programme management or the students, is what impresses us at the Burgenland University of Applied Sciences - both as students and as lecturers. We also love passing on our knowledge. What could be worse than storing up your own expertise?

It was also Dan who inspired the younger Octavian to pursue a career in marketing. He also completed the bachelor's degree programme in International Business Relations in Eisenstadt. Together, the two have completed a total of six degree programmes, three of them at the Burgenland University of Applied Sciences. "On the Master's degree programme in Digital Media and Communication (then Information, Media and Communication), we both wanted to broaden our spectrum in the direction of digital marketing and build up even more knowledge. The fact that we both actually got a place on the programme at the same time was unique," says Octavian.
Why marketing? In response to this question, they both enthuse about the broad spectrum. Creativity, communication, but also the handling of data, such as in target group definition or campaign reporting, are covered. A clearly attractive choice for both of them.
Dan gained many years of professional experience in digital marketing at a large corporation. Three years ago, he fulfilled his desire to become self-employed and founded the digital marketing agency ITTU MARKETING & CONSULTING. Octavian continues to work for the American company Moody's as Assistant Marketing Director and supports his brother with his strategic and technical expertise. "We spend a lot of time dealing with professional issues, because the best solution for our customers is the most important thing. Our learning effect is huge," says Dan.
The two are also enthusiastic about the interaction with their Master's students at the Burgenland University of Applied Sciences.

We organise our courses in International Marketing Management in a very interactive way and adapt the content to the students' individual level of knowledge. Teamwork and dialogue are the most important things for us.
