CEEPUS

CEEPUS (Central European Exchange Programme for University Studies) is a mobility programme that promotes the exchange of students and lecturers in Central and Southeastern Europe. University of Applied Sciences Burgenland coordinates the "Education Without Frontiers" network with more than 25 partner institutions in seven countries. Within the framework of this programme, you as a lecturer at University of Applied Sciences Burgenland can complete a funded stay at a CEEPUS partner institution.

Requirements:

  • Lecturing at one of the CEEPUS partner universities in the countries of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and Hungary to the extent of at least 6 hours in a period of 5 working days.
  • Lecturers without a doctorate/PhD degree do not receive a grant.

Application:

  • By 15 June for the following winter semester
  • By 31 October for the following summer semester
  • The entire application process is handled via www.ceepus.info.

Amount of the grant:

  • This depends on the country in which the host institution is located (see www.ceepus.info).

Additional benefits from Austria:

  • Lecturing allowance (only with doctorate/PhD degree)
  • Travel allowance

Please note:

  • Lecturers without a doctorate/PhD degree only receive the travel allowance.
  • Unfortunately, there is no funding opportunity for administrative staff under CEEPUS.
