The Master's degree programme focuses on the project-based handling of projects and process orientation in a wide range of business areas with a focus on digitalisation in an agile environment. This degree programme is the right choice for you if you want to bridge the gap between organisation and information technology with sound management tools. The two specialisations Business Process Management and Data Driven Engineering, which are chosen alternatively, additionally focus on the digital challenges of business.
The Master's degree programme Business Process Engineering & Management - BPM for short - combines knowledge of business processes with an understanding of the core business of IT in the context of digital transformation. The process-oriented view of a wide variety of business challenges and their project-based handling are core competencies that you will acquire in this degree programme.

The Master's degree programme Business Process Engineering & Management is open to graduates of at least three years of study at a recognised domestic or foreign post-secondary educational institution (Bachelor's, Diploma and Master's degree programmes of universities of applied sciences and universities, doctoral studies).
The University of Applied Sciences Master's Programme Business Process Engineering & Management accepts 46 applicants per year.

The first part of the study places will already be allocated from 31 March for your better planning.
Applications received by the UAS Master's Programme Business Process Engineering & Management within a set deadline will be considered in the admission procedure for the coming academic year. Registration takes place via the online application.
Admission interview
After applying for a study place, eligible applicants are invited to a personal interview. During the interview, the applicant's motivation to study, communication skills, social and intercultural competence as well as any previous professional experience, English and other foreign language skills are clarified.
If the number of applicants exceeds the number of available study places, the admission procedure provides for a ranking, whereby the academic qualification (previous study career), additional qualifications (professional qualifications, certificates, etc.) as well as the admission interview are evaluated.
Deposit
After the binding allocation of a place, University of Applied Sciences Burgenland collects a deposit of € 350 from students to secure their place. This deposit is refunded to active students after the end of the first semester. If an applicant does not fulfil the admission requirements before the start of the programme (e.g. did not pass the resit of the school-leaving examination, did not pass the additional qualification examination, etc.), the deposit is also refunded. In all other cases, the deposit is forfeited.
