"I actually always wanted to study and go abroad," says the 31-year-old. But after school, her full-time job as a teenage mum took priority.
After various training courses in dance sports, mental health, massage and yoga, she most recently worked in the social business "FreuRaum", where she realised her potential as a chef, restaurant manager and deputy managing director.
I have already exhausted everything that was possible in my career. But now it's time for a new adventure. In Austria, you also have limited opportunities without a degree. That's why I want to open up new perspectives for myself with the Bachelor's degree programme in International Business Relations.

The first-year student explains her choice of degree programme by the omnipresence of economic contexts. "Economics is simply a big topic in our world, as is capitalism. In other words: the rich get richer, the poor get poorer. I want to learn to understand how the economy works and its mechanisms in order to change it for the better. Because I believe that we can have all this without exploiting people." She hopes that her Bachelor's degree programme at the Burgenland University of Applied Sciences will open the door to the international banquet.
I think it's great that the lecturers come from the field and I'm looking forward to expanding my network. One of the highlights of my degree programme will definitely be my semester abroad.
